Post BSN regional residencies for nurses are an essential step between the classroom and clinical work and a new nursing career. There is no one way to handle a nurse residency program. Many hospitals, especially larger teaching hospitals, choose to develop their own, while other hospitals choose a national program like the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program or the Versant RN Residency Program. Other programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

1. Hospital for Special Surgery – New York, NY
